Dr. Mark Blank

Dr. Mark Blank started his career in Sports Medicine as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2008, where he worked with University of Central Florida’s Football team, followed by working for the then San Diego Chargers specializing in the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2012.

As a Physical Therapist, Dr. Blank worked for a large Physical Therapy company where he managed multiple outpatient clinics in South Florida, followed by becoming the Director of Rehab for a smaller private outpatient clinic where he could focus more on the quality of patient care. Dr. Blank then went on to work for the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) where he was able to work with some of the most respected and renowned surgeons before deciding to open his own clinic where he could provide all of his experience to his patients in a smaller setting focused on providing the highest quality of care. Dr. Blank earned his certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT), along with multiple other certifications including trigger point dry needling, kinesiotaping, as well as Functional Movement screening, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

Experience

Prior to opening Prime Sports Performance and Therapy, Dr. Blank also worked for the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, where he was able to work with some of the most renowned orthopedic surgeons, as well as with cutting edge state of the art equipment.

Dr. Blank specializes in the combination of the most current hands-on manual therapy techniques, along with sports and function-specific rehab protocols to not only allow his patients to return to their desired level of function and performance, but also to excel past them.
